The Broncs play at home this Thursday, November 20, at 7:30 PM against the Knoxville Thunderbolts. The Broncs then travel to Winston-Salem to play the Storm on Nov. 21 and Nov. 22. Then, their next game is at home Friday, November 5 against the Georgia Gwizzlies.
The Broncs talented roster has nine players who have previously played pro basketball either here in the states or internationally.
In addition, the inaugural team is a virtual Nashville all-star team, with players from nine middle Tennessee colleges and a host of local high schools. In all, 13 of the 18 players played their college and/or high school basketball in middle Tennessee. Two more played in Tennessee outside of Nashville. (note: 12 players dress for each game.)
Among the leaders of the Broncs are guards Josh Cooperwood from TSU and Hillwood, Mario Moore from Vandy and Antioch, Ronnie McMahan from Vandy and center Adam Sonn from Belmont and DCA. The Head Coach is former Vandy coach and player and Jan van Breda Kolff.
